Last time I wore this skirt was Easter 2010..yeah that long. I don't know why, it is a perfectly cute skirt, I just haven't gotten around to wearing it....until today.
I decided to winterize it and tone down the spring-like whiteness of the skirt, but wearing a black sweater pulled down over it. Since the black kind of overpowered the skirt, I decided to add a white belt to brighten it up. I wore black tights and black shoes and let the skirt speak for itself. I like how it turned out. I got a lot of compliments on the skirt. They probably would have liked it even more if it were spring or summer.
I didn't know the best place to take pictures. I think the picture in my "closet" turned out best, but the clothes behind me or distracting so I resorted to taking the pictures back in front of my basement door.
Is there any piece of summer clothing that you've winterized?

ReplyDeleteHey Lady...what a cute outfit! That skirt is definitely worth winterizing. Yes...I just did a similar post the other day about transitioning a piece. It so great you can do that with some things. You can get so much more wear out of your wardrobe that way.
