Today I didn't go ANYWHERE. I stayed in my P.J.'s and worked on my bucket list... Mainly, organizing my closet(s). yes, plural. Closets....

I have a small third room in my house, which would be perfect for a nursery, but since I don't have a baby , I use it as a closet. Good thing I'm single, as I have no clue where my husband would put his clothes...
I organized my real closet by categorizing my clothes, blazers, cardigans, skirts and sleeveless shirts. I didn't realize I have some repeats in my closet, which is pretty bad, so I'm glad this reorganization allows me to take stock of what I have, which is a bit of EVERYTHING.. I definitely think I have too many clothes, so November is "no spend" month. I really don't think I need anything.

Girl you don't need to shop another day in your life! If this is your spare room closet what does your main closet look like? Good LAWD!! You have more stuff than I do in my main closet in your spare room closet! lol I purge quite often. Probably once every quarter. I could not imagine if I kept everything. I usually only wear things once or twice and then I give them away so I can shop some more. Not anymore. I am with you, it is time to stop shopping and start shopping my closet. I must save for retirement!! Anywho, didn't do much this weekend. Went to Goodwill today and that was about it. I don't really celebrate Halloween so no plans there. Kiah
ReplyDeleteI'm currently in the middle of trying to figure out what to do with all my clothes. We live in an old house that was bult in the 20's, and the closets are tiiiiiiiiny. I don't have enough room for all my clothes, so they're currently sitting in neatly folded piles in the bedroom. LOL I'm so ashamed to admit that. I picked up a cheap clothes rack at Ikea, so I'm going to assemble that tomorrow, and put it in the guest bedroom! =)
ReplyDeleteI need to clean my closet again, I did a good cleaning a few months ago and gave away a lot of stuff but things are piling back up, time to do some ditching and cleaning,thrifting like I do has me filling my closet to fast,but lawl...just starting on that closet of mine... I dread it oh so much. All those shoes of yours, i know you still had a bit of fun,finding stuff you have not worn in ages its like shopping all over again.I did manage to attend a cool halloween party Saturday with my Meet Up group, I was dressed as a black widow spider. A few drinks and a lil fun is what I needed this weekend.
